Title
Endangered Manatee
Artist
Jo Lynch
Medium
Painting - Watercolor On 140 Lb Artistico Wc Paper
Description
Painting of a Manatee done with thoughts of them being an endangered Species. This manatee is painted in my Whimzicals(tm) style in watercolors on 14 x 11 piece of watercolor paper. We live near the Blue Springs St Park in Florida. Many Manatees winter there in the springs and people come from around the world to see them. They come to the springs as the water is warmer there. If you prefer your artwork with the background, this same manatee can be found on another page in this website with his original background of watercolor blues. If you love sea animals look for my sea turtles also. Jo Lynch

Is there a name for process to get this effect? I have a bird poster like this years ago and have wanted to try it on some photos I've taken. You did a great job!
Jo Lynch replied:
Hi Madlyn, This isn't a photo. It's a watercolor painting. I call this a "style" which I use for specific work, but there is no process? as it is simply the way I paint my watercolors. Thanks for asking though... Jo :)

Thank You each and every one... I appreciate all of the comments. We visit the Blue Springs State Park each winter to admire and watch the manatees and their babies. It's a favorite place for our family.
